I love my family very much, but I am so glad to have my house back. So very glad. I don't think my sister shut up the entire time she was here (except maybe while in the shower, but I wouldn't bet on that). Wonderful, wonderful quiet. Now I can do everything I meant to get done, like mail a certain package which was supposed to be mailed *mumble**mumble* days ago.

And my boss wonders why during the interview I said "Well my family lives in the South, so I want to move to the east coast to be near them. But not too close, because this is my family we're talking about."

Chocolate pecan pie is in the oven cooking. We shall see if it is good enough for Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving was good this year, which means no one got shouted, yelled, broke down in tears, or otherwise got upset during the Black Friday shopping event. I call this Thanksgiving a success.

Everything was fine until heading home. We took the extra long descending route into Reagan airport, and I got nauseated. Even after lunch, I wasn't feeling great. As soon as I got home, I closed off the bedroom to the kitties and napped for two hours. I feel better, but not 100%. Thank goodness being off today means I have a short week at work.

Now I have the hiccups strong enough to bother the cat and concern

miome. Awesome. -_-

I am on vacation from now until Monday. Traveling to see family until then. I may or may not have internet, but I will at least have my computer to type on.

I seriously had to leave my desk at work, go to the bathroom, and laugh after reading this story. I wish my family's Thanksgiving was this interesting. I do think that this will be one of my new catch phrases.

"WEEEE DIIIIIID NOT COOOOME FROOOOM MOOOONKEEEEEEYSSSS!"

Dear Expedia,

It is not funny to almost give me heart failure by not printing middle names on your itinerary. Because that makes me think I somehow forgot to give you our full names when booking our airline tickets. No full names printed on the airline tickets means we would not be able to fly for Thanksgiving.

Not cool, Expedia. Not cool.

My sister has wireless internet set up at her place, but for some reason neither myself nor my brother-in-law can get onto it. My sister can though. I think this is some sort of conspiracy. I have managed to get on using the wired connection. Yeah internet!

No writing done. I did play several games of freecell yesterday though and do some light editing on several stories. I just didn't feel like advancing any of the plots. Might feel different today.

My feet have been licked by my sister's bulldog. o_O

Why yes, I would love to spend my last night here in Indiana before I fly to spend Thanksgiving with my family with food poisoning. There's nothing that fills me with more joy than having to run to the bathroom every 30 minutes and only get 4 hours of sleep. Truly it is more than I could have wished for.

Heading to SC for family time. I probably won't have internet access until I get back Saturday (which was $150 cheaper than coming back Sunday o_O). I'm hoping to get some writing done, but I always hope than and it never works out the way I plan it. At the very least I want to work on the Young Avengers Crack AU I started (just what everyone wants to here: another WIP).

Back from Atlanta. I have the worse headache from flying. I'm seriously considering not going to class this evening. My cats love me and have already forgiven me for abandoning them for days. I wrote nothing but I did read all but the last quarter of the Temeraire books that

maderr lent me as well as half of the one of the sex lives of the Roman Emperors. I have to admit I spent most of the books rooting for Temeraire/Laurence slash. I'm going to eat some lunch, take some pain killers, and then head back out to the airport to pick up

miome at which point I'll decide if I can handle class (which would out me home after 9pm and I'm dead tired at this point).

Also, as a side note, if I complain of being sick in the next few days it is all my sister's fault.

So starting tomorrow and ending next Monday, I will be without internet as I do the whole family holiday thing. As an added bonus, I have no laptop on which to write while I'm gone. Lovely -_-.
