I love my family very much, but I am so glad to have my house back. So very glad. I don't think my sister shut up the entire time she was here (except maybe while in the shower, but I wouldn't bet on that). Wonderful, wonderful quiet. Now I can do everything I meant to get done, like mail a certain package which was supposed to be mailed *mumble**mumble* days ago.

And my boss wonders why during the interview I said "Well my family lives in the South, so I want to move to the east coast to be near them. But not too close, because this is my family we're talking about."

*grins* See, I like the fact that my family lives close enough that they don't come stay at my house. ^_^ We can visit all day and then everyone goes home.

Glad that you had a nice visit, though, even if you are ready for it to be over.

That makes perfect sense, though. I mean, they're close enough for the holidays, but far enough away weekly visits aren't mandatory. Total sense.
