I'm going to leave this one open to comments, though I'm not sure when I'll be up to reading them. Or have time before I leave for NC.
My grandfather passed away this afternoon at the apartment he and my mom lived in. My mom is going to be staying with my sister tonight and they'll be driving to NC tomorrow.![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
miome and I will also be driving to NC tomorrow. I do not know when they funeral will be (Sunday or Monday), though I do know that he'll be buried beside my grandmother. We'll meet with the funeral director on Sat. to sort that out. I do know that I'll call email work to let them know I will not be in on Monday.
This is both expected and unexpected. My grandfather was getting up in years and had recently been diagnosed with cancer, though that hadn't appeared to have spread very far. However, he deteriorated very quickly. He was fine on Tuesday, a little disoriented on Wednesday, and then passed away today.
