I totally forgot about this bit of conversation until tygati mentioned the studfinder.

Miome: I need to get a new studfinder. Preferably one that actually works. My old one never did work well.
Tsaiko: *snerk*
Miome: What?
Tsaiko: Insert any terrible joke here.
Miome: *sudden realization* That's terrible.
Tsaiko: To be honest, I'm glad your stud finder never worked well. Otherwise, you wouldn't have wound up with me. :D

Heh, I bought myself a studfinder a few months ago. My sister saw it on my coffee table and asked what it was then looked at me funny until she realised it was for finding wall studs.

Ooh, ooh, and I just remembered, I was stopped in traffic once behind a builder's truck and he had a sticker on the back that said 'you can't build a house without studs' complete with a picture of a muscular bloke in a hardhat. Sadly the lights changed before I could get my camera out to take a picture. It was funny. :D

Oh man, I would totally love to have one of those. I bet they're expensive though. :(
