The Fremont Troll. It's a great, quick stop. Not a terribly well-known tourist destination, but it ensures a lot of fun pictures.

The International Fountain is a great place to spend the afternoon if you get tired of the Space Needle. You are allowed to "swim" in the water geysers, but I would recommend that only in warmer weather- that water is frigid!
The Pike Place Fish Market is tons of fun. Though the link I gave you only shows the fish market, its actually a sort of open-air building with a street level and an underground level! There's a lot of great shopping places within the building- its a fun way to spend an afternoon if you don't mind a bit of tourist-y nonsense. Plus, the workers at the fish market do actually toss the fish around to each other... its a great show!
