Annoying story cliches
Friday, January 1st, 2010 07:38 pmYou know, just once, I'd like the scene where the two main love interests meet because one of them shows up mysteriously naked to be a little more realistic. Kind of like this.
"What?" Bryce demanded. Todd managed to keep his eyes on Bryce's face. Not that I haven't already seen everything he has to offer, but it's impolite to stare.
"You have no clothes on. It's kind of…"
Bryce squawked before Todd could even finish the sentence. He blinked. Todd would have thought that Bryce would have known he was naked. Surely the drafts would have clued him in? But Bryce acted like he was totally unaware
Unfortunately, Bryce's first instinct was to cover himself. When his hand didn't quite do the job, he grabbed Todd's pillow. Todd only barely managed to keep himself from making a face. Please don't rub your junk all over my pillow, weird person that has broken into my apartment naked. Too late.
"Do you want to borrow some clothes?" Todd asked. He was going to have to do laundry anyway to wash his pillowcase. "I have some sweats that may fit you."
"Yes, thank you."
