Foiled again!

I was going to show a picture I took of the awesome filet crochet bunny I did, but I can't find the cable for my camera. Foiled! FOILED I SAY!
I was then going to write on something, but can't decide what. FOILED AGAIN. Until I realize that I have my friend's list to decide for me.
Pick a number between 1 and... 147? Good lord, I have a lot of WIPs in this one folder.

And the rest

"Cousin. I was not expecting you." Her voice was cooly polite. "Mr. Onyx, I would like to introduce my cousin Tsavorith Garnet. Tsavorith, let me introduce Mr. Onyx. He runs his own security company and is in charge of security for my events."
The polite thing to do would be to shake hands. Neither Sard nor Tsavorith offered their palm. Instead they stared at each other, still sizing each other up.
"I'm sure he's a very capable security guard. He certainly is threatening enough," Tsavorith replied. "I get the feeling he doesn't appreciate me showing up."
"I am surprised myself. You usually don't show up at these events." Mostly because he wasn't invited, Sard thought. Pyrope rested a hand on Tsavorith's arm. Sard kept very still, watching to see if the other man would make any threatening moves towards his employer. Instead all the fight seemed to drain out of Tsavorith.
"Family shouldn't need an invitation to see one another. And I assure you I am here on family business," Tsavorith replied. His green eyes flickered briefly to Sard. "Is there some where we could discuss this in private? I'd hate to ruin your party."
Say no, Pyrope. Sard thought the words hard at his employer. He did not want to let this man out of his sight. Obviously, his psychic powers weren't working because Pyrope nodded once. "The library. Sard, please make sure nothing happens while I am gone."
"Yes, Miss Pyrope," Sard said. His voice was bland but inside he was seething. So many things could go wrong and he wouldn't even be aware of them until it was too late.
This could only turn out badly.
