What is it with our house and small kitchen appliances? The toaster oven we bought years ago to replace the one that was possessed? It stopped working last week. miome just told me that while I was gone, the toaster oven randomly started turning itself on by itself. What's even scarier is that the original possessed toaster oven rant was posted seven years ago, almost to the day. o_O

Time to get another toaster oven. I'm now betting it last seven years before succumbing to the dark side.

If only it were that easy. It doesn't work when we try to use it. It only works when it wants to... which is usually at random times during the day. Definitely time to get a new one.

Definitly sounds dead.

We used to have terrible troubles with the old breadmaker. It was very sensitive to power surges and we would get interesting specimans from it some mornings.
