miome just told me that while I was gone, the toaster oven randomly started turning itself on by itself. What's even scarier is that the original possessed toaster oven rant was posted seven years ago, almost to the day. o_O
Time to get another toaster oven. I'm now betting it last seven years before succumbing to the dark side.

O_o Almost every can of biscuits that we put in our fridge (besides Pilsbury, for whatever reason) ends up popping open, and our coffee maker keeps turning itself on, but it has no function to turn on every day at a specific time.
Manufacturers are creating kitchen appliances to become posessed a certain number of years after purchase, I think.
