skylark97 sent me stuffed Peeps! I mean they are little stuffed animal versions of peeps. There is a bunny and a chick and I cannot get over how awesome that is. *does the happy dance*

Also it seems the yellow funk has descended full force on NC. For those of you who are not from the South, the yellow funk is when every tree decides to try and mate by release tons of tree bukkake into the air. It covers everything left outside: cars, windows, parking lots, etc. The entire world becomes vaguely yellow. During bad years, bees attempt to pollinate parked cars.

This is supposed to be one of the bad years.

When we came back from Virginia the other day, everything was COATED with pollen. I was like "WTF happened to our car!?"

There were also little tree debris bits all over our car. When I picked them up, they poofed at me. :/

I love it when people from up north see the huge bees we have around here. I'm talking about the big wood borer bees. Every time they see one their reaction is "Oh my god is that a fucking bee?"

I know xD We have some big bees up in Ohio, but they're fucking HUGE down here. Although, any bee scares the crap out of me. ._.;
