Give me a prompt, ANY SORT OF PROMPT, be it crazy wacky crossover or or weird AU or "regular" fic or an original, and I will write anywhere from one line to one paragraph from a pivotal scene.

It looks like fun. And I am keeping it to ONE SHORT SCENE. Unless it grows on me.

"If you see a magpie, remember this rhyme - One for sorrow, Two for joy, Three for a girl, Four for a boy, Five for silver, Six for gold, Seven for a secret, Never to be told."

That count? ^_^;;

Jacob left the bread out, which was stupid of them. There were no racoons in the area, but there were magpies. He'd seen two of the black and white birds in the trees yesterday morning and another four pecking at the styrofoam cooler last night. So it was no surprise that they'd ripped the plastic bag open to get to the bread.

"Go on! Shoo!"

Seven magpies burst into startled flight. Their beating wings stirred up the dirt. Jacob shielded his eyes until they were gone, then dropped his arms to his side.

At that moment strong arms wrapped around his waist, and a breathy male voice whispered in his ear. "Miss me?"

I so totally took the idea from something that I watched happen to a group of us camping in Colorado. I noticed magpies in the trees and locked up all my supplies. My fellow campers were not so observant. I laughed at them. A lot. XD

Who am I?
