tsaiko: Multicolor skittles with the words "Skittles make me happy" (happy)

I know I've told this story before, but I'm going to tell it again. I have a Business Management Minor. I would often get to classes fifteen minutes early, set myself up, and then start writing in whatever notebook I had handy (hence the binge on finally transcribing them). If the class was boring enough, I'd also write during the class. For the first half of the semester in one of my business classes, most of the time I would work on a Duo/Heero Gundam Wing fanfic that was graphic in nature. After awhile, I noticed that one guy always sat next to me and was constantly looking at what I was writing.

I moved. He moved to follow. I moved back. So did he. I covered my notebook, he sighed and kept sneaking glances whenever I leaned back.

Dude was not subtle.

Eventually, I confronted him about it. I turned to him and said "You know, I have a website if you really want to read more." He turned about five shades of red, got up, and moved. I never saw him again. Which made me sad, because I really would have given him my website and I didn't mean to scare him off.

I just found the notebook from that class.

It's number four on my list of notebooks to transcribe, right after the NC State notebook, the green notebook, and the Community College notebook. I may move it up just to see if I can find that old fanfic. I know I never completed it, but who cares? It'll be extra fun telling this story if I can link to the fanfic in question while doing so. :D

That's odd; he wasn't subtle about following you and trying to sneak glances, yet he was embarrassed you confronted him. Visiting a website is a whole lot more anonymous than looking in class.

I know, right? I think he just didn't want to have to admit to himself or anyone else that he enjoyed reading gay romance/porn. As long as he could justify it as "I'm bored in class and that's why I'm reading this girl's gay porn story" it was fine. But actively searching it out on his own? Oh no! Someone might think he liked that kind of stuff.

I do hope that he eventually came to terms with the fact that he wanted to read what I was writing.
