I can't be bothered to remember what I learned, either. This happened while I was playing with the minecart mania plugins - there's a block that when you electrify it will spawn minecarts. I had it hooked up to a switch, and it got stuck in 'on'. I was desperately wading through a tidal wave of minecarts to turn the thing off ...
