Co-worker: What is marginalia?
Tsaiko: ... what?
Co-worker: Marginalia. The client says that the map lacks appropriate marginalia.
Tsaiko: Oh. I think it means stuff in the margin. Like the title, legend, etc.
Co-worker: I am glad you are around. Because I had no idea what the client was talking about.
Tsaiko: Well you're doing better than me because when you first said the word, I thought you said marginocephalia. Then I spent a moment trying to figure out why the client said the map lacked dinosaurs.
Co-worker: *laughs*
In other words, back from my business trip.
