Revenge of Snoverkill
Wednesday, February 10th, 2010 04:01 pmWhen I left for work at 7:20am, it was cold and a little snowy, but not bad.
By the time I got to work at 8:00am it was snowing heavily, the wind was blowing at 20mph with gusts up to 40mph, and it was white out conditions. Luckily, some otherfool dedicated employee had come in and gave me a ride home at noon. I finally flaked off work 30 minutes early (which I'll make up over the next two days) because I couldn't do half the things I needed to working from home.
It better damn well not be snowing tomorrow. -_-
EDIT: My favorite article about the snow around here.

We know to keep a snow shovel and scraper in our car at all times--even in the summer, in most cases I know of--and to not try to park where there is a foot of snow! In short, we do not turn into bumbling, common-sense lacking IDIOTS when it snows!
That's not to say we don't have common-sense lacking idiots around here too--they just don't come out exclusively for the snow.
