I return!

After totally forgetting to mention that I was traveling for work last week, I return! The work part was okay but the rest was a nightmare. It started with the airport losing power, then I had a racist-talkative seatmate on the three hour flight out that hit on me, and then the haunted hotel room with no AC (luckily, the AC got fixed after the first night, the haunting... not so much). The trip back was much more enjoyable but a little stressful because I knew racist-talkative guy was flying out the same day and wondered if we'd have the same flight. Thank goodness it was not meant to be, because I would have killed him if it had happened.

And now, time to catch up on LJ.

O.o You had a haunted hotel room?! That sounds scary. Too bad about the seatmate. Glad you're back home now.

It wasn't too bad. Mostly I kept seeing a black, human shaped thing in the mirror. Every time I did anything in the bathroom that first night, I'd see it move behind me in the mirrow. My solution? To say "I do not have time for this" and shut the bathroom door. Nothing reflected in the mirror then. End of problem.

The mirrors on the closet doors were a little harder since they were right next to the bed. I eventually had to open the closet doors at night so I wouldn't keep seeing things reflected in them. At least I didn't sense anything, just saw it.
