The roof is on fire, actually

So... last night the apartment building next to ours caught on fire.

Long night was long. And not helped by the fact that I fly out to GA this evening, won't have internet, and won't be back to Sunday.

Sigh.

Geez! ;_; That sucks the big one. I'm glad it wasn't your building. (Y'all have renter's insurance right?) It's the one thing about living in a building with people you don't know. I trust me and J not to burn the place down...I put no such faith in the other people that live here. -_-

...at least you were warm for a while? In all seriousness, at least it wasn't your apartment. This is the moral or the story wherein there are Too Many Christmas Lights.

Someone else on my f-list had her apartment flood. This is an odd xmas.
