I'm more than a little annoyed at my Committee Chair right now. He's gone in and given me tons and tons of changes on my thesis. The problem? A good deal of these changes are in the first sections of my thesis. In other words, the part that made up my proposal. Which is the part that he'd already looked at and approved once. I'm a little miffed that this was fine and dandy the first time and now, when I thought that part was done, I'm having to go back through and redo large sections of it.
I also forgot to cite something. He caught it, and I am 100% glad he caught it. The note I had for myself saying "Citation?" got dropped at some point and none of us noticed it the first time around. It was a stupid error on my part. What I am not happy about is the not-so-subtle way he implied that I did it deliberately and saying "BTW, you'll have to run this through Turnitin.com and send the report to your committee." I'm already upset that this is taking like 2x as long as I wanted it to and now this? Yeah, not thrilled. Though now I'm paranoid as hell that something else like this happened and am triple checking everything. Which is probably what he wanted anyway.
I'm also going to have to do more analysis, which I'm not happy about at all. He wants it done by the end of the week. I'm not sure I can have it done by the end of the week. I'm going to try.
This pretty much gets rid of any chance of having it done by July. And because of the insane rules of my University, it means I will not be awarded my degree until September. Why? Because in order to get your degree in a month (say August), you have to have everything turned into the University by August 10th. Otherwise, they will award your degree the next month (September) assuming you have everything turned in by September 10th.
Why does like suck so hard sometimes?

And it's not like some of these are tiny flaws either. I just can't believe he sprung this on me at this late in the stage. It makes me feel like I totally failed in understanding what to do.
