Of no importance
Friday, March 13th, 2009 08:57 amEvery time I look at my new LJ layout, I have to wonder how many people think that it's picturing the northern lights.
Then I have to wonder how many people realize that penguins are only found south of the equator.
This is why my LJ is now named what it is.
Also, learning InDesign through the crash course method is not recommended. Before I have to have this poster done, I will figure out how to put borders around text boxes.

I'm not even going to comment on the obvious example of seeing the Penguins in Pittsburgh. :P

Love the journal title. And I should totally visit my friends' actual journals more, instead of just hanging out on my friends page.

Date: 3/13/09 07:05 pm (UTC)As it is, I'm just under half-way through this poster. Probably more than that because I can copy and paste some of this directly from my last poster. I WILL BE TRIUMPHANT.

Date: 3/13/09 09:14 pm (UTC)If you use the rectangle tool (the one that draws shapes) and then change the stroke of the border to your desired thickness, your text frames should be done in no time at all!
Plus, googling a tutorial could help--there are videos and screen shots and really helpful ones like that around.
