In sickness and health

miome is still not feeling well. She's been sleeping on and off all day long. She's also subsisting on graham crackers, water, vitamin water, and raisin bread. I had some pizza for breakfast, and she gagged every time she smelled it. The only good thing about this is that at least we know it's not morning sickness!

I ran out for lunch because I was going slightly crazy and picked up some things we needed. This included saltine crackers. Miome made the comment that now she has a variety of mostly tasteless crackers to eat.

Phase 1 of the secret project has been completed, making it not so secret now. Or making it not so secret within a few days. Heh.

Maria has been on the BRAT diet, prescribed by her doctor, which consists of Bananas, Rice, Applesauce and Toast. She has found that applesauce on the toast is good, and rice with some cinnamon is good. I'm thinking that cooking the bananas in the rice with cinnamon might be better, but have not convinced her to try it, yet. Hm, maybe I'll just make and serve it and see how it goes. As it has been awhile, she is heartily sick of this by now, and is having dreams about eating other foods, but it does apparently help.

oh. Make sure she stays hydrated. Get those sports drinks for her. It helps. I hope she gets better soon.
