Christmas 2008!

I ordered the decaf Christmas blend that pleasance created at Adagio Teas as a present to myself. Considering I ordered it on the 21st I was a little surprised it arrived before Christmas. It smells divine and I'll probably brew myself a cup this evening. They also threw in a sample of Taurus tea, which smells very earthy. My sister also got me loose leaf tea and a tea ball. I was not expecting that, but am rather pleased since I needed a tea ball and good chamomile tea. Tea is good.



This is what I got miome. She loves the mittens, the necklace was something she liked that I bought behind her back, and the scarf it gorgeous. The pattern is a lot more distinct and the colors richer than what you see in this picture.



This is what Miome got for me. Yeah for comic books! I am going to enjoy reading them. I've been wanting to know more of the back story of the Avengers and specifically what went down with Wanda/The Scarlet Witch. I know she has the ulterior motive of encouraging me to write more fic with this gift. Unicorn is an ornament. You can't really see it, but the pendant is in the shape of a gold fish and is made of silver and different colored amber. It's beautiful and so very me.



This is what my grandfather got Miome and me for Christmas. I started warning Miome as soon as I saw he'd sent her a gift too. "He gets us all the same thing and it's usually... special." Good to know my grandpa didn't disappoint on the WTF? scale. Really, grandpa, you shouldn't have.

I also have enough toothpaste to last me a year since miome can't use any toothpaste with mint and I just bought two tubes of it because they were on sale. There are now 6 1/2 tubes of toothpaste in my bathroom. ;_;
