Why am I reading gay Victorian murder/mystery? Especially when I hate two out of three of those subjects?

Sigh...

Possibly the same reason I stay up until 2am reading badfics. I'm still trying to figure that one out.

On the other hand, if it's not horrendously written, I'd be quite interested in a gay Victorian murder/mystery, what are you reading?

It's called "Lessons in Love" by Charlie Cochran. I'm still ambivalent over whether it's good or not. I think I'm going with "It's not terrible" right now.

What's a good email address? At the very least I can let you decide. XD

Lessons in Love by Charlie Cochran.

It's... well it's not terrible, but I'm not sure I'd call it good either.

Yeah, it's not exactly edge of your seat writing. Then again, I do not expect much out of murder mysteries. Not my favorite genre.

I also love how the person writing it can't decide whether they're British or American. Either they're British and have read way too much American fiction (unlikely) or they are American and are trying desperately to be British (I'm betting on this).

Ohh! I feel sad that you didn't both absolutely f-ing love that book to death like I did. Alas, it does take all kinds.

Seriously, one of my favorite books ever, not just m/m or ebooks. I laughed as much reading it as I did Good Omens. Lol, and now M is clutching her breast in horror at the blasphemy. *grins*

I do find the continuous interruptions funny. Every time they start to do stuff, I keep waiting to see how they'll be interrupted this time. Otherwise... I think this is just not my cup of tea. There was another ebook I read that was the same way. It wasn't that it was bad - in fact, the writing for that one was excellent - it just didn't work for me. Although that time it was because it was about cops and drama.

Which one was that, do you remember? I love cop!slash.

Hope you find something you like.^_^

Oh, and I was just sorting books and such this weekend, and re-read my meager few YA comics, and thought of you and miome. Sounds like you two have such fun together. :D
