I survived!

Thank you to all the people who wished me luck. The poster session went well (though seriously, why is it you can go over and over a poster on a computer screen and as soon as you print it you find like five errors?). My feet are still killing me from yesterday.

Five days till I am done with exams and free. Only two exams, a revised poster, and the last three pages of a term paper stand in my way.

Soon I will be able to write again. Soon I will be able to crochet. Soon I will once again have free time. SOON.

Oh, that happens to me all the time. I always print out a small (8.5x11 or 11x18) copy to check for errors before blowing it up on the plotter. And I have other people look it over, too. After looking at the same map for too long, you see only what you expect to see. Little details fly right by you. @_@

Yeah, in this case one of the "little" details was the fact I'd somehow managed to miss three small boat areas because they were filled with aquatic vegetation and looked like grass. The problem? I'm supposed to be mapping aquatic vegetation! Nice one. Means I need to reanalyze the entire lake. Luckily, I was planning on doing that anyway but still...

One of my fellow students just looked at my poster. Between the two of us, we found about twelve mistakes. -_-

Happy early birthday!! I am bogged down in a 4-8 hour lab that SUCKS bigtime. I have to have three water baths at constant temp and that is hard to maintain at 37 degrees. So happy early birthday in case I don't see the light of day tomorrow!!
