tsaikoThe only thing about finishing a poster on my thesis is that now I have to present the poster for my thesis. My adviser just informed me that people from the State Dept. of Natural Resources might be stopping by to see the progress I've made. Since they might provide me with intern opportunities and possible money, this is a BIG THING. Oh boy. I'm glad I erred on the side of caution and dressed up.
Also, the only problem with not having to wear nice shoes for almost 12 months is that I've lost all the callouses I had developed. Ouch. I had to buy band aids and cover the entire back of my heels to get it to stop hurting. Glad I did though because we wound up walking (15-20 minutes) to lunch.
Must not be nervous. Must not be. Wish me luck.
