Race the Wind notes

tsaiko- I have 8+ pages of various parts of this written. None of them are connected right now, which is why they aren't posted. They make sense to me, but I know the whole story.
- My numbering scheme for the files is useless because I realized that this thing is going to be about twice as long as I originally thought. Not that that matters much considering it started as just a small throw-away piece and morphed on me. I really didn't have much of a plan when I started this.
- Plot holes are evil and are what is currently holding up the next part. This is why I've skipped it and moved to later parts.
- All of the names in this story are either directly taken or slightly modified off of names produced by the Fantasy Name Generator set to Hawaiian 1 or Hawaiian 2.
- I need to rewrite this thing like burning but am forcing myself not to until I complete it. This thing is going to be a novel by the time I'm done. Sigh.
- I am still unsure at this point whether or not there will be porn in this. Maybe implied porn.
- Aiepa is still kind of a dork. Even when *spoiler* happens, he's a dork. Eventually he becomes something of a hero and even then, still a dork. I don't think this ever stops at any point in the story. Wait... he might be cool when... nope. Still a dork.
- Still haven't been able to draw any of these characters despite repeated attempts. This is why I'm a writer, not an artist.
This is just a FYI to let you know that I got a comment from someone today asking about it and started working on it again. Damn you graduate school. You suck up all my free time. Including most of this weekend since I have a paper due Tuesday that I need to get done by Sunday if I want to have a prayer of getting my other work done.
