I iz adult!

Today I am printing, filling out, and taking to my bank to be notarized forms so that I can request a few copies of my birth certificate from Orange Co., CA. This is the first step on the road to getting my car registered in Indiana and Indiana driver's license. I feel all adult.

I also have less than a month to get this done before my NC registration expires.

Erk. Perhaps I should not have procrastinated as long as I did...

Argh! Mine's expiring within a month too, and I'm like "...crap. I need my birth certificate. Crap, I need this, that, the other...I hope they can fedex it overnight..."

Ah well.

I don't feel like an adult yet. :) Despite being self-sufficient for three years running and not having to call parents to ask for money yet... no, I just ate a crapload of halloween cookies and my tummy hurts now. I don't feel very adult at all.

I know. This whole governmental forms thing sucks. Why can't they just intuit what I need.
