It's off!

Short story is off to Iris Print. And of course, five seconds after I hit the send button, I notice that I'm supposed to put "Short Story Submission" in the subject line. I FAIL! That's okay. It's sent and hopefully I will be forgiven for the brain fart.

This leaves me open to write... Race the Wind this weekend, if the poll continues it's current trend. ^^;

I don't see a spot for "on the street"...

(BTW, some companies will discard any email without the subject line note, for fear of spam or whatever. However I've recieved email notification of "submission recieved" from those to whom I've submitted that accept email submissions, so if you don't hear anything in a couple days, or a week or whatever, you might think about trying it a 2nd time just to be safe.)

Luckily, I know the person who runs it and have emailed her before. She knows about my mind gets sometimes. If I don't hear anything back, I'll email her and verify she got it. If I don't make it into this anthology, I can always try for the next.
