In random news, mechante_fille is a goddess among betas and doesn't mind that I violate commage usage rules like the scared uke in a dark alley they are. Thank you and I owe you a story. Pick a concept or plot, and I'll get it to you as soon as I send this off.

I'm going to rewrite that one scene because I'm not happy with it. Hopefully I will not break too many grammar rules in the process.

Uh, I so meant to look at that scene again for you. Unfortunately, I have spent my evening proof-reading my best friend's essays for her Master's program. And... now I am on the phone going over each. and. every. correction. And listening to her complain that she hasn't had sex in 9 days (the horror). She owes me more than story. But, that's what friends are for. OMG, I'm channelling Dionne...

Anyway, feel free to send the scene if you want. I can do it tomorrow, squeeze it between more essays on child development. Have it back by Friday morning. ^_^

Now see, that's assuming that I have time to get it done today. I might after class, but no guarentees. And hell, Master's program essays trumpt gay romance any day. I might take you up on that offer anyway. I'll think of something nice for you in return.

But gay romance is more fun! Really, getting to read the story is the benefit of doing the beta work.^^

No kidding, right? It is a very new relationship, and now they are 1000 miles apart for 15 more days! *gasp*

*shifty eyes* Want to hear something that will make you blink and gag, all at once? So, she and the new girl are not exclusive, yet. New girl calls her the other night and tells her that she brought home some chick (her words), got her naked and in bed, then told her to go to sleep because she'd rather be talking on the phone to my friend than sleeping with someone else. My friend: "Isn't that sweet!?" Me: "Um... sweet. Sure...among other things...

Yeah I'm not sure "sweet" would be the word I would have used. And I can definitely bet "sweet" would not have been the word used to describe reaction to that story.
