Tsaiko: I really like your story. The characterization is fantastic. But like other people, I find this part of the plot confusing.
Writer: My story isn't confusing. You people just don't understand.
Tsaiko: Well, yes, that would be the definition of confusing.

Sometimes I don't know why I bother even when people ask for my opinion.

OH MY GOD, MY STORY IS SO EMO. NO ONE CAN APPRECIATE THE SUFFERING I ENDURE FROM PEOPLE WHO DON'T GET IT.

WHAT'S SAD IS THIS STORY WASN'T EVEN ANGSTY. THE PLOT JUST DIDN'T MAKE SENSE AT ONE POINT. THE WRITER WAS TRYING TO BE ALL CRYPTIC AND LITERARY AND SUCCEEDED TOO WELL.

Ah yes...poor logic...forced to loiter outside of the schoolyard, hoping one young fanfic will finally invite Logic to come inside and play.

...Wait...did I just unintentionally personify logic as Michael Jackson?

Silly Tsaiko! You simply have not lived a life steeped in angst and misery and so can not grasp the depth of emotion and feeling that I've written into every ounce of this written masterpiece! How dare you sully it with your confusion!!!

This "writer" of yours obviously has Anne Rice and L. Ron Hubbard as role models.

Actually, that bit of converstaion happened many years ago, before Anne Rice lost what few braincells she had. I say nothing about Hubbard. Butit remains the best example of the following exchange which happens every other time I give feedback:

Writer: I wish for people's opinions. Please? PLEASE? OH GOD GIVE ME FEEDBACK.
Tsaiko: Okay. This and this are good, but this could use work.
Writer: HOW DARE YOU NOT FALL DOWN AND WORSHIP MY STORY! CAN YOU NOT TELL IT IS A TRUE MASTERPIECE?
Tsaiko: Leaving now.

Well, now you know that people who ask for C&C generally don't want it.

Knowing is half the battle. :)

And the other half is not getting guilted into giving feedback for these people. -_-

I thought the other half was superior firepower...

Damn. All these years misconstruing the lessons of G.I. Joe...

... Wow, that's just classy right there.

The icon is appropriate. They should be set on fire and eaten. >:F

See, but if they're the only ones who understand it, then maybe they can pretend that they're somehow wittier than everyone else. Who fails to understand it through their lack of... wittiness. xDD
