Snow?

First day I'm back in Indiana, and there's at least an inch of snow on the ground. miome assures me it was sunny and mild while I was gone. I'm not sure I believe her.

In other news, our Christmas tree is up though it isn't decorated except for the lobster on top of it. We will probably be putting all the ornaments on sometime today or possibly next weekend.

I have part of my secret Santa's gift bought. Now I just need to find some other things to get him/her.

Today I need to at the very least get some of the Christmas cards done so I can get them out tomorrow.

Life is good, if busy.

Paper Mario... tentacle porn?

Almost as soon as we got the Wii (after a year of searching), we went out to each get a game for it. miome got the raving rabbids game and I got Paper Mario. I was playing it tonight and got to the water world (3-2 I think it was). One of the bosses is a giant squid with tentacles that try to touch you.

Miome: Please tell me Paper Mario did not go to the bad place.
Tsaiko: Bowser has already complained about Mario giving him cuddles. I'd say at this point it hit the bad place a long time ago.
*Tsaiko fights the squid*
Game: No! Noooo! Don't touch me there. Touch me anywhere but there!
Tsaiko: OMG... Miome, are you seeing this?
Miome: Bad touch! BAD TOUCH!

I was amused.

EDIT: So I was on Amazon looking at the video games and signed in. Of course, Amazon tries to give you recommendations based on what you own/bought. Today's recommendation? It's Okay to be Different. I can't help but get the feeling that someone, somewhere is laughing at me.
