Updating again
Tuesday, June 12th, 2007 08:05 amI came onto campus at 7:30am in order to read my friend's list, check my email, and do all sorts of computer like things I can't do at home yet. Comcast is getting a call tomorrow about internet. AT&T is getting a call today about phone. I have already been to my Insurance provider because the apartment requires that I have renter's insurance. It was a fiasco. After about an hour and a half, we finally figured out that I have to have an Auto policy in Indiana in order to get Renter's insurance in Indiana. It's being processed.
Important things I have forgotten in NC so far: my Social Security card, my tennis shoes, scissors, and toilet paper (what was I thinking?!?). I'm sure I'll discover more as I go along.
Usually, I don't mind the pictures of boys kissing people have on their LJ layouts. It's a different story when I'm trying to read their stories on a computer where anyone can walk behind me. Makes me jumpy. Especially when half a dozen professors decide to chat behind me.
Might be awhile till I get caught up on stories.
And now, time to see if any progress has been made on getting me working. Bye!
