Bitch, please.

We've investigated this before. I've got at least a dozen websites outlining how much work it takes to get published. I've gone through at least four books on the same subject. I've read countless essays on the pros and cons. I have read everything from how to format a manuscript to how much I can reasonably expect from selling a novel for the first time. I've investigated everything from Lulu.com to e-zines to reading the requirements for most major publishers. I weighed all the pros and cons and decided it wasn't for me.
So why then are you trying to convince me that the best way to get the money I need for a new car is to write and get published a novel? Have you not listened to a thing I've read? The return on investment is not there. Why do I get the feeling you are not listening? Could it be because I am writing a cheesy, cheesy romance novel oh god, shoot me this is so bad and funny it hurts?
I don't know why I'm worried though. I never finish these things.
...
I'm going to regret saying that, aren't I? Crap.
No love,
Tsaiko
