I don't know how bra shopping online manages to be as upsetting and soul sucking for me as shopping in a store, but it somehow manages.

Trying to find a 100% cotton, unlined bra in my size is obviously like trying to find rainbow unicorns in Central Park. Hell, even the nicer, more expensive sites don't carry what I want in my size. The only place I've been able to find what I want is Victoria's Secrets, and they don't carry that style any more. Not that I wanted to give them my money anyway, but at least they had something.

Look, I understand. Lace is pretty. Synthetic fibers are cheaper and more durable. Smaller sizes are profitable. However, I cannot wear lace without scratching myself raw, synthetic fibers against my skin all day will cause me to break out, and I swear to god, if I could have made my boobs stop growing I would have.

Fuck this. I'm going to go read fanfic.

I had to stop wearing bras because they make my breast pain like 1000x worse and I was having panic attacks - actually full blown panic attacks, complete with memory loss - when I would put them on and stuff. It's been really hard because I'm so big (like an L or K?) and I could no longer wear a lot of my clothes. Also it's still hard to find camisoles and shirts that fit be (like everything has to be 3x or 4x vs my pants size, which is a 1x, oh gosh) - like, I know that not everyone can do that and it did take a lot of getting used to, because I was trained to always wear bras both like physically and mentally, but now... less panic attacks? I'll take it.

Also I literally could not afford bras my size. So there was a lot of stuff that went into the decision to not wear bras anymore.

Who am I?
