When fandoms collide

I found out that the guy who plays Sheriff Stilinkski in Teen Wolf was in the Mortal Kombat movie.



I can totally see this. Johnny Cage was a playboy martial arts actor who joined the Mortal Kombat tournament to prove that he could actually do martial arts and was not a fake. He was also the comic relief of the game and the movie. SoWhat if his name was actually John Stilinski and he took the stage name Johnny Cage because who was going to hire a martial artist called John Stilinski?

Then after Liu Kang won the Mortal Kombat, Johnny decided that he'd had enough of acting and martial are. He became John Stilinski again, returned back to his home town of Beacon Hills, got married, had a son, and settled down to a job that was just dangerous enough to keep him from getting bored? Like maybe sheriff? Only his son wound up having ADHD and his wife passed away. Life became kind of boringly normal. And John? John was okay with this.

I just... head canon. The idea of Johnny Cage having a kid like Stiles is hilarious. Not that he doesn't love Stiles. He does. But I can see him watching Stiles trip over his own feet and thinking "Thank goodness, he won't go into martial arts and get caught up in supernatural shit."

Only he's total wrong about the last part. :D

there's a story where stiles' dad is johnny cage and his mom is sonya blade. they married and retired from their lives when she became pregnant with stiles. he finds out when he catches them practicing martial arts when he's a kid. his dad ends up training him. it's cute.

buuuuut if inspiration hits, I'd love to see what you would do with it!
