I'm in ur status...

I use a chat program at work. One of the things you can do with this chat program is set your status. Since this is work, and several people above me (including my project manager, my boss, and the director of my department) are on there, I am usually careful what I put as my status. Unlike some of my co-workers, but that's a whole other story.

Today I was creating and validating topologies. This is boring, tedious work. To lighten my mood I set my status to "Tsaiko iz in ur feature class, validating ur topology." The Director saw this and said it was awesome. But he asked why I was using "iz" and "ur." So being the kind of person I am, I sent him a link to Icanhascheezburer as an explanation.

His reply? "i just lost an hour of my day."
