My eye is driving me crazy.

The last few days the corner of my eye has been itching/burning. I thought at first I was getting a stye. My first thought seemed correct when the area turned red and swollen. However, no stye has appeared after three days. I'm beginning to think that it was just me continuously rubbing at my eye that irritated it.

So now I'm desperately trying not to touch my eye. The swelling/redness has gone down, but the skin is cracked and scaly around there from touching it too much. It itches like crazy though. It'll be fine for awhile, then flair up. I've found cleaning the area with warm water and putting a warm compress on it helps. Still not sure what the heck is going on because I don't see evidence of a stye forming.

Argh.
