I have all these ideas for writing and absolutely no urge to write. It's like as soon as I open a blank document, my mind goes blank as well. Hopefully once the thesis is done this will go away. Of course, I keep saying that about a lot of things. "Once the thesis is done I will read more books... write... update my webpage... work out more... be able to think once I get home instead of just vegging..." Getting a Master's degree is hard.
miome is attempting to make banana bread pudding with rum sauce. I get the feeling it's not going well. I get this feeling from the fact that random curse words keep coming from the kitchen.

Kira is a pretty princess. As you can tell she is a lot less thrilled by the pink bow than I am.

This is Kira in her favorite place in the apartment: the back of the chair.

Nadia on the pillow sleeping. I always love how she forms a perfect Nadia-ball when she sleeps. This is because she cannot have her nose uncovered when sleeping. It's especially cute when she sticks it in the blanket to keep it warm.

Nadia chasing her tail. She occasionally does that as well as roll around on her back acting cute to get attention.
Now some pictures that are not of my cats.

Dramatic clouds. This was taken in 2008 when I was doing field work for my thesis. I really like how it came out.

This is one of the guardian lions in front of the entrance to where my office is. I love passing them every day. They are awesome.

My first attempt at filet crochet. I was rather pleased with how it came out.

This is the sign they put up in January when ice fell and cracked two of the panels in the connector and shattered a window in the student center. Doesn't it just make you feel safe?

That white thing you see sticking out of the snow? That's my watering can. The snow got pretty deep here for awhile.

Attack of the ladybugs! I swear they were all over my room for about three weeks in early spring.

All the stuff I brought back from Chile. I got a lot of awesome stuff there. I'd love to go to another country and explore, though I want to either learn go to an English speaking one or really work on my Spanish and go to a Spanish speaking one.
