The Gideons were on campus today passing out their tiny copies of the New Testament. I have to admit, I always have to stop myself from going up to them and asking what color the little Bibles are. I don't think they'd appreciate that so I stop myself. Still the urge is there. I have a red one from Middle school and a green one from High School. I also have an ancient yellow one, which I don't think they make any more (I'm not sure when/where I picked it up, but it's an atrocious yellow). I really want to have a whole set in rainbow colors across a shelf.

The Wikipedia article doesn't mention yellow as a color. They also don't have a purple one. That makes me sad. I've not see the orange kind, but I want one. That would at least give me half the rainbow. Then all I would need was to convince a police officer/firefighter/EMT to send me a blue one. I'm still disappointed in the lack of purple.

Why do I want a rainbow shelf of Gideons bibles? I have no idea. I just think it would be awesome.
