Tsaiko & Miome Theatre: Dorkness prevails!
Thursday, January 4th, 2007 07:20 pmWe were talking about one of the (many) stories I'm working on.
Tsaiko: I'm finally getting to the one scene where they start making out. Hardcore. In fact, they probably are going to go beyond making out.
Miome: Woo!
Tsaiko: The bed is going to break though. They only think they're going to have sex.
Miome: +10 to cockblocking!
Tsaiko: Critical Failure on roll for sex!
I went to the dentist today. After the technician had cleaned my teeth, the dentist took a look at them. "Oh. That's interesting." Words you never want to hear when someone is looking in your mouth. So he does... something and I feel pressure on my gums. "Does this hurt?" No. It didn't. I tell him as much.
The dentist hums and then says I have *some technical term.* Okay? Turns out that when the removed my wisdom teeth, there were some bone fragments that got left behind. These bone fragments get lodged in the gums and slowly work their way to the surface. That's what had happened. It was sitting in my gums and irritating them. So he decided to see if he could pull it loose.
It didn't hurt. I felt something move and then it was out. No problem, right? Then I made the mistake of asking to take a look at it. This bone fragment was about as long as the width of my pinky nail and had bits of my gum still attached to it. This was not a small sliver.
"You're going to want rinse with salt water instead of mouth wash for the next few days since you now have a hole where it use to be."
TRAUMA.
So now I have a hole in my mouth. Lovely. -_-
