Today is break the computer day

Firefox downloaded some automatic updates and somehow managed to cease to exist on my computer. No, I'm not sure how that happened either. I've tried redownloading it again and it'll get to the extraction part and then... nothing. There's no way to download a slightly older version so that I can actually have a working browser. Right now I'm using an ancient copy of Mozilla to get around since the version of IE on this computer doesn't support tabs.

Also, since it's the first Tuesday of the month, the server I pull my work off of is up and down. Right now I'm being paid to sit around and read on the internet (which I hate).

I've only been at work for 40 minutes.

Sigh...

EDIT: Well, I figured out the problem with Firefox. Seems my predecessors and I have managed to fill up a 90GB hard drive. Time to see if I can get one of the tech guys down here to see who's junk can be deleted off.

Can I just call do over?

It's never, ever a good feeling when you realize that $1,000 of your money was not sent to you. o_O

(Some digging revealed that the money was hung up at the Bursar's office, probably due to the fact that bills for the new semester will be due fairly soon. I'm just annoyed because the money to cover that is already in my account with some left over. GIVE ME THE $1,000 I NEED TO PAY BILLS. YOU DON'T NEED IT.)

Predicting 2-4 inches of snow to fall here over the course of tonight and tomorrow.

And of course, it would hit on one of the days I have classes. -_-
