Good days, bad days
Wednesday, April 5th, 2006 06:26 pmThere are good days when you sit down with your girlfriend to a nice dinner of grilled turkey, salad, and greenbeans. Then there are days that suck so bad you send your girlfriend out with money to go get you Taco Hell because if you have to be around people you are going to EAT SOMEONE'S FACE. Guess which day today was? Taco Hell has some nasty fruit punch.
Started off today that my car ate my crochet hook. I crochet in the mornings before work. I usually work on small projects or the baby blanket since that requires almost no thought on my part. This morning I was packing up the blanket when I accidentally dropped my crochet hook. I just got back in from completely cleaning out my car, and still don't have the hook. My best guess is that it fell in the damn console. I guess I'll be going out and getting another size H hook at some point. Until then, I'll work on the throw I'm making my mom because I can't change gauge right in the middle of my project.
Then today was obviously obnoxious co-worker day, as in my co-worker was being obnoxious. More than one I was tempted to reach out and strangle him for various reasons.
This afternoon I went to have my afternoon snack (I eat three meals and two snacks each day during the week to prevent myself from having an emotional meltdown due to blood sugar. Or something.) I had a new thing of little applesauce containers. I went to get one of the little containers out of the cardboard they come stacked in. While doing so another container fell out, dropped to the floor, and cracked. Applesauce on the floor, applesauce on walls, applesauce on my pants, and oh yes, applesauce on my ankles. I was not pleased.
Now I am home. I'm going to write my quota for the novel and then I'm going to torture some poor character. Because really, if I'm having a piss poor day someone else should be having one as well.
