Took me a little bit longer than I intended to get this part out. Therefore you're getting the first semester and the short that comes after it (second semester). More tormenting and laughing at Justin.

Sophomore Year:

For what seemed like the five hundredth time, Justin checked the flyer Nicholas had given him for the room number. It was bright neon pink and had "Gays, Lesbians, Bisexuals, Transexuals and Friends are WELCOME!" in huge letters across the top.

The things he as Queen did for the other dragons on campus.

Bad enough to be a dragon. Even worse to be a dragon and gay. It was wasn't that dragons had anything against being homosexual. It was just that it happened so very rarely. Most of the older dragons made the effort to seem accepting and wound up only making things very, very uncomfortable for the poor dragon in question.

Which was why Justin was going to this meeting. Nicholas, the freshman who had confessed his sexuality to Justin, needed to see that there was at least one dragon that could be supportive and not be an idiot about it. It was his duty as Queen.

When he opened the door, Justin was a little surprised to see that the room the club was using was one of the auditoriums. Stadium seating meant that the room could easily hold a hundred and twenty people. Right now a little over thirty were clustered around the front of the room. Justin sat a few rows down from the back, not hiding in the shadows but not really a part of the group.

He'd been sitting there for a minute or two when someone else slunk in the back door. Justin looked up. It wasn't Nicholas, but he was just as nervous as Nicholas had been when he come to see him in his office.

"Hi," Justin said. The guy started then offered a shy smile in return.

"Uh... hi."

"My name is Justin. It's my first meeting." For some reason, that seemed to put the other guy at ease.

"It's my first meeting too. My name's Sully." Then Sully laughed. "Well, it's actually Sullivan but no one calls me that."

"Nice to meet you," Justin said. "You seem nervous."

"I am." Sully sat in the seat beside him. "If any of the guys on my floor knew I was coming to this, they'd beat my ass. All the comments I get are bad enough."

Justin frowned. " Shouldn't your RA do something about that? The University has a no tolerance policy against that sort of thing because of..." he stopped when he realized Sully was staring. "Er... sorry. I've got all these policies memorized. I'm the Campus Queen."

"Oh honey, aren't we all," said another guy as he entered the room. Sully started laughing at the expression on Justin's face.

"Campus Queen?" Sully asked once he'd stopped laughing. "I take that doesn't just mean you're gay."

"I'm not. Um... gay that is. I'm not gay. I'm here to support someone else." The guy who'd made the last comment sighed.

"Sure. That's what they all say."

"Do you mind?" Justin said. Then he gave the nosy guy a look that dragons had long perfected when it came to annoying people. It didn't take long before he was quickly retreating down the stairs. Then he turned back to Sully. "I'm seriously here to support someone else. Who... doesn't seem to be coming actually. Wonderful."

"So if you're not gay, what is the Campus Queen?" Sully asked.

"I'm the leader of the student organization for dragons. Instead of being called President, I'm called Queen. It's kind of a traditional." Justin shrugged.

"Really? You're a dragon?"

"Excuse me?" Both Justin and Sully turned towards the front. A woman with short cropped hair was standing in front of everyone. "I now call this meeting to order. Before anything else, we need to take care of some important business. Maggie withdrew from school between over the summer. Per the club constitution, we need to have an election to vote on a new club secretary. Any nominations?"

"I nominate Paul," some guy shouted. The woman at the front made a face as a guy wearing the tightest pants Justin had ever seen got up. Whistles and catcalls accompanied his saunter. When he got to the front, he blew kisses at the audience.

"Are there any other nominations?" the woman asked. Silence. "Please, please say there are other nominations."

"I nominate Justin," Sully said into the ensuing silence.

"What?" Justin hissed.

"Come on. No one is going to vote for you over that guy. Why not? I'd do it, but..." Sully trailed off, looking down at his hands. It was obvious he wanted to run, but wouldn't.

"Fine." Justin sighed. "I accept the nomination."

"Great! All the candidates will need to leave the room while we take votes."

Justin left the room. When he came back, he found out that the vote was 23 to 11 in his favor. Obviously, Paul was not as well liked as they'd thought.

Which was how Justin became Campus Queen and secretary of the campus chapter of the BGLA.

Sophomore year, second semester:

"You know what Greg? Sometimes you're an asshole," Maurine stated. A chorus of agreements came from around the table.

"Whatever. I know you all love me," Greg replied. He glanced over at Justin. "Hey! You're not actually writing that down are you?"

"But Greg..." Justin was using his sweetest, most insincere voice. "I'm just the club secretary. My only job is to be quiet and write down what's said at the meetings," Justin said, parroting back Greg's earlier words. Then he dropped his head and pronounced each word as he wrote it. "The President then called the Treasurer an asshole, and the rest of the club officers agreed."

Greg turned bright red while everyone else laughed.

Maurine grinned. "Justin, if I weren't a lesbian, I'd totally date you."
